Steph Carter – Yoga Pose

I am currently receiving chemo treated for Multiple Myeloma (blood cancer) and I have found it very helpful to learn more about this disease as well as research in what ways I can prolong my life and minimise side effects from chemo. You can read the background on my diagnosis and previous treatments on my blog.

I have listened to one of the Cure Panel Talk Show archived episodes and today’s topic looks pretty interesting, although I don’t know anything about yoga.

The Cure Panel is a talk show that features leading medical experts in conversation with a panel of patients about latest treatments under development for specific medical conditions such as Multiple Myeloma or Leukemia

The show features a discussion with Carol Horton, PhD, author of Yoga Ph.D.: Integrating the Life of the Mind and the Wisdom of the Body. Three Multiple Myeloma survivors will be talking about the role that yoga has played in their treatment.

Topic: Yoga for Healing
Time: 3pm/6pm PST/EST
Multiple Myeloma panelists: Lisa Duncan, Catherine Kerr, Carole Pepe

You can read more info here.

Reading their bios, it really is inspiring how each panelist has used Yoga in their lives to help battle Multiple Myeloma. Should be a good discussion. You should call in!

[Update] Archived show is now available.
