World Cancer Day: Staying positive each day

Today as World Cancer Day comes to an end I’ve been reflecting on my life with multiple myeloma since my diagnosis in 2006 which you can read about it here. Here are a couple photos from my day.

Although there are many challenges living with cancer, I’m staying positive and continue to use photography to remain creative and happy about life.

From December 2019 I've been on Darzalex (daratumumab) IV chemo with Velcade (Bortezomib) injection chemo + dexamethasone. Have Multiple Myeloma + anemia, a rare incurable cancer of the immune system. Life goal: To spread awareness about Multiple Myeloma through my self-portraits. UBC MSc Grad.
